The Christmas Committee is looking for venue suggestions.
Our Octoberfest event is still being planned. The metropark has cancelled their October in the Oaks event.
Our Chili Cookoff campout is July 24-26 at RRR.  CCO on July 25.
Our photographer, Debbie V. will be unavailable Aug 1 - Oct 1 and someone(s) will need to take pics.
Cowboy Christmas Tack Swap is being planned for Sunday, Dec. 6 at WB.
All state-sanctioned OHC rides have been cancelled.  Some events are still going on.
The state OHC meeting on Aug. 9 will be virtual.
The metropark intends to put porta-johns at the rider center and boy scout camp.
Laura G/C is back at the park part-time, Monday and Tuesday.
Mounting stands at Maumee State Forest on 64 and CR V need to be repainted.  We need to ride there to keep the trails open.  They could probably use some maintenance.
Connie told us that oak trees should not be trimmed  until after the first frost.
Chili Cookoff  at RRR:
     camping is $25/night - contact Leroy
     Sat night, 6 pm
     Suggestions:
          1. name it
          2. list 4 ingredients not necessarily the main one or secret one
          3. have a theme (award for crowd favorite)
          4. list heat level
     Tammy has restocked the club tote.  Bring a ladel.
Oaktoberfest at RRR:
     Oct 2-4  contact Leroy for camping
     Tammy will be cooking
          Fri - German potato salad, brats, kraut,
          Sat - boiled dinner  
     dessert auction  
     Friday there will be a full moon. Jack is looking into a night ride.
     Sponsor Oaktoberfest and be on the t-shirt for $20, contact Tammy R.
No one is going on the Beavercreek camping trip.
Cheryl and Michelle are looking into Turtle Creek, 5 hrs north, trails not challenging.
Next meeting Aug. 3, 7 pm, The Whitehouse Inn.  Go early to eat.
Jo thanked everyone that has been working on her fence.  They typically meet at Thurs. at 6:30.
