Kabobs with potluck. Games before dinner. We bought a first-aid kit for the club. Rod is working on a project on the Rails to Trails on Co Rd 17. He will apply for a state grant. Cowboy Christmas has been confirmed. Park report - there has been alot of storm clean-up. Joel, Marge and Michelle have each volunteered a day with Lora G. Oak trees CANNOT be trimmed this time of year due to oak wilt so please don't trim while riding. There are 2 bridges that need to be replaced and are being discussed - one close to Jeffers RC, one near Oak River Lane. The park could use another stone donation. Stone is needed near Oak River Lane. We are told the roundabout at Wilkins should not impact the horse trail. Mowing has been difficult to accomplish due to lack of equipment. Randy Haar, a volunteer at the park, talked about hoary allysum, a toxic plant. There is quite abit of it in OO, especially Girdham and Jeffers Rd. It likes to grow in alfalfa fields. 46 members and guests attended at Reed Rd.
