The Christmas/Holiday party committee needs a lead coordinator. The date was discussed: early Jan is difficult for some. Place: no objection. Date needs to be determined.
HHYEC clean-up is Sat. Apr. 5 altho weather is not promising. Bring chainsaws, rakes, nippers. Record volunteer hrs. including load up and travel time as well as tools used - power vs hand vs heavy. [It was cancelled.] Winter Blues breakfast was attended by ~30. Money that was donated earmarked for the park was discussed. A suggestion from the park liaison suggested donation of stone to fix muddy trail spots that haven't been addressed in a long time. A motion was made and approved to donate stone. The Derby party, May 2-4 will be a camping weekend at Reed Rd. Jack will get the burgers and buns which will be provided by the club. Polly will bring a TV. It will be a potluck. Guests are welcome. Jack asked if there was any interest in sponsoring members to attend a first-aid class. A trail cleanup in OO was discussed. It would need to be on a weekday evening, along roads and trails that we ride. Members were receptive. The path between the Rider Center and 64, which is MSF, is getting very overgrown. Jack will check with MSF about clearing. A portable griddle has been purchased for a raffle to be drawn at Cowboy Christmas. Ideas to increase traffic were discussed. Terry O. presented the sample polo shirts made by 3Cord. Gold and black were shown. Any color or style will be choices to order. The ones there were available for $25. This is not a money maker, we are selling for cost. OHC will have a booth at Equine Affaire and volunteers are needed to staff it in 3 hr shifts. Contact state or stop in when you're there. Our flower sale through Sadowski's is going on in April with forms due May 6 to Connie Bauer, pick-up May 8-9 or anytime thereafter at Sadowski's. 24 members attended at The Bunker Bar
