We have several events this month and next:
Nov. 30 - Soup or Ride - OO Riders Center Jeffers Rd; meet at noon to ride or just come hang out; bring soup or snacks to share
Dec 1 - Cowboy Christmas Tack Swap at The Show Arena - 9.am-2 pm then live auction
Dec 3 - Chapter meeting at Bunkers - 7 pm. The upgraded buffet was good last time.
Jan 4 - holiday party, Otsego Park

There will be no chapter meeting in January.
Oaktoberfest was well attended with 71 members and guests. We netted $700 at the dessert auction which has been donated to 7 charitable organizations: Cherry Street Mission, Otsego food pantry, Toledo NW OH Food Bank, Maumee Under One Roof, AW food pantry, Christmas Box food pantry, and Open Door in Delta.
Set up for Cowboy Christmas will happen Saturday, Nov. 30 following the barrel event at TSA. We hope to get in by 7 but we will have to see how the day goes. Jack is lead on this.
We will be collecting non-perishable goodies for the park ranger/maintenance Christmas boxes. Bring to any event or get them to Connie or Jo. We would also like to have home baked goods for the Maumee State Forest people (I think there are only a couple) as they cannot accept anything of monetary value. The elves assemble and deliver these before Christmas, like mid-month.
Membership renewal can be done at a meeting, by mail or online if you intend to renew. The 2024 email list will be retired soon. If you no longer hear from us after mid January, you haven't renewed.
The tentative schedule for the January party is:
3 pm set up - help is needed. Sandy B is lead on this event.
5 pm - Happy Hr
6  pm - dinner- meat provided, potluck
     followed by games
Trail miles need to be tallied and turned in to Jo by early January. In the past, Jack has called everyone to make sure we get them all!
