Hi everyone -

Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays!

As you know by now our last meeting of the year has been held and the Christmas Party was a great success! It is time to look forward to 2012!

Our first item on the agenda for 2012 is our New Years Day Ride. Ride out about noon - back for treats @ 3 PM  (Be sure to bring something to share!).  Sounds like Wood County already has this on their calendar.  Of course this event is weather permitting - call ahead if you have questions.

The next event is the 2012 planning meeting. This has been moved to January 9th, 7 PM  @ Nick & Jimmy's  Bring your ideas for what you want to do in 2012.

One final event for January is the Winter Blues Brunch.  This is on January 15th @ Nazareth hall in Grand Rapids.  It is at 11 AM, $15.18 per person. MUST BE PREPAID - CONTACT CONNIE BAUER WITH RSVP & ADDRESS TO SEND FUNDS.  419-260-8387

ALSO - YOUR 2011 MEMBERSHIPS EXPIRE 21/31/2011 - THIS ALSO MEANS YOUR INSURANCE EXPIRES.  If your membership is not renewed by 12/31 this means your membership privileges are suspended until such time as the dues are paid in full. Time to renew!

Trail mileage reports are due the first week of January 2012 - Have you been keeping track of your miles this year? It's not too late to start - every mile counts!

Both membership and trail mile forms will be available here - look under forms.

This is all for now - see you out on the trail!   Cheryl

12/12/11
Great News - the trails are back open after the rains subsided. The Rider's Center is also back open.  Watch for patches of ice AND detours on the trails. Unfortunately - we will be dealing with ice on the trails this winter, not all of them were able to drain off before freezing.  If you find any problems - let the Rangers or Maintenance Dept know so they can be taken care of.
Be Safe and have a great winter riding our wonderful trails!
